How do I keep the clock as my main screen on the Fitbit Charge 3? Right now I cant get out of the stay awake/notifications screen. I try to swipe up/down, left/right and nothing happens.

Great answer straight to the point. Not required to switch the face clock or plug-unplug the charger. THANKS!

I press the home button and nothing happens. I have a choice of a screen that has Screen Wake and Notifications or a screen that has either 2 Mins or 5 Mins and a play arrow. I can turn Screen Wake and Notifications on and off or I can press the arrow and spend 2 or 5 mins being run through some stupid breathing exercise. All I wanted to do was check the time! Please help!

I have such a love/hate relationship with my Charge 3. Trouble with it syncing now and have to daily update the app while Bluetooth is off and then turn it back on.
For your problem, I take the Charge 3 off my wrist, then use something sharp (I have short fingernails) push on the indent on the left side ( sort of a button) while squeezing on the right. Hold for a couple of seconds till the screen goes black and then squeeze again quickly twice till the time of day shows back up. What a pain as I can accidentally trigger screen changes just trying to get the Charge 3 pins to align. Good luck!

I think it does not on the Charge 3.

Pressing both sides brings mine to the stopwatch which I cannot seem to clear!

Just keep pressing repeatedly and it might cycle through to the home screen. Don't worry, it took two scientists at my house 3 days to figure this out!

So it looks like no one has responded to this problem.

I swear, I have had so much trouble with the Fitbit Charge 3.

I would not recommend buying one.  Too much money for an unimpressive device.

Is the Charge 3 a lemon, or all all Fitbit devices problematic?

I have pressed several seconds on the left side button to no avail.

How do I set the time on my Fitbit?

I had this same problem work my new charge 3. Swiped up, down, right, left . And I followed this advice, pushed the sensor button on the left and it returned to the main screen.

It's more a sensor and doesn't stick out . But just press where you think a button should be and viola! Thank you for your advice.

That works. Thank you. Not sure why they left that out of the manual for the charge 4.
