Is your clock setting at 24 hours in your profile?

A warm welcome to the Community @Harriettt18@Lennycj and @SunsetRunner thanks for the input.

Regarding your inquiry, to change your clock to a 12 or 24 hour clock:

  1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon.
  2. Choose Settings > Personal Info.
  3. Under Advanced Settings, find Clock Display Time and select whether you want the time shown in 12-hour or 24-hour clock units.
  4. Click Submit and sync your device.

Let me know if you need anything else. Smiley Happy

I am not exactly sure how to do that, Alejandrafitbit. I do not know where the settings are where 'Personal Info' is displayed.When I click at gear icon I have clock faces, apps, How to use and accessories,

Settings are only displayed under the Account (top right corner icon) and they have the following: Heart rate, female health, advanced settings, blocked users. Nothing like personal info in advanced settings.

Could you help please? perhaps with screen shots.Thank you

Have not been able to set clock to 24 hour on my Charge 3. When I log in and go to the Dashboard there is no Gear icon. Would appreciate assistance. Thanks.

Hello @tomalleyjr.  Welcome to the forums.  To clarify, this is a change you must make on your web dashboard at fitbit.com.  It cannot be done on the phone app.  When you login to your account on fitbit.com, the gear is in the upper right.  Tap on the gear, then Settings (not your Charge 3 icon).  You will be taken to your personal info page.  Scroll down to Clock Display Time and change it to 24 hr.  Click on Save and sync your Charge 3.

Thank you. Just figured that out. Just have to be smarter than the
equipment you are working with! Lol. Thank you again.

To see the "Settings” cog in top right of the fitbit.com web page once you've logged in to your account, if your on a smart device such as tablet or phone, ensure you're web browser is in desktop mode too!  LOL it was frustrating for me as well...

What is the "Gear" that I have to click on?  I open the Fitbit Dashboard for my Charge 3 on my computer, but I cannot see anything that says "Gear" or looks like a gear.

Please help.

@ekulmar,

Welcome to the community!

Go to your online dashboard...  This is not the Fitbit App, it's this website on the web browser:  https://www.fitbit.com/

At the very top look for this:

fitbit-gear-icon.jpg

Then follow the others' directions.

I hope this helps.

@Dasiemay,

Welcome to the community!

I'm pretty sure that it's there, you're just not looking in the right place.  First, it's not on the Fitbit App, it's on the website.  In order to change the setting:

  1. Open your web browser (again, this is not the Fitbit App).
  2. For the URL, type in https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile, you may need to log in to your Fitbit account.
  3. On that page scroll down to where it says "Clock Display Time", you can set it there.

If you don't see it, please include a screen shot of your Advanced Settings section of your settings (again) from the web site.

I hope this helps.
