my 2018 charge 3 has suddenly turned on the GPS (has been off previously) 

now can't turn it off! sends reminder to 'exercise' every 15min 

trying to reboot - so far not effective 

looking for tips/tricks - help

I'm sorry to hear that you are getting reminders to exercise constantly. Thank you for the information provided and thank you for trying to resolve the issue before contacting us.

 

The Fitbit Charge 3 doesn't have built-in GPS but uses your phone’s GPS sensors to track your routes (connected GPS). For more information about this topic, you can visit this page.

 

To help you stay active during the day, your Tracker can send you reminders to move which can be turned off by going to this article and follow the steps under the menu "How do I turn reminders to move on or off on my Fitbit device?"
