How do you currently track Meditations in the Charge 2?

I can already see a feature suggestion for adding meditation tracking to the tracker. But while that's coming, how can we track meditation sessions using the current features? Have anyone done that?

I don't track meditation sessions, but I want to emphasize that because something is in the Feature Suggestion form does not indicate that "But while that's coming".  Items with the highest number of votes get the attention of the developers who then determine if it can be developed. This particular suggestion only as about 20 votes as of now.

Assuming you have a Fitbit with HR sensing, use the "yoga" exercise shortcut and start/stop a "yoga" session at the beginning/end of each meditation.

Another, less sensitive, method is to start/end a "sleep" period for each meditation session using the Fitbit app, as follows: dashboard > tap the "How did you sleep?" square > tap the + in the upper right corner > tap "Begin sleep now" ... and then tap "I'm awake" when you're done.  Assuming you have a Fitbit with HR sensing, use the "yoga" exercise shortcut and start/stop a "yoga" session at the beginning/end of each meditation.  HR bpm seems to have a good correlation with depth of the meditation, from my experience.

I recently wanted to see the details in a meditation where my heart rate went crazy while I was sitting - I wanted to see how long my heart beat had zoomed - I was telling the cardiologist 2 minutes - turned out it was closer to 10 minutes.   This isn't the easiest way to track meditation, but it works well.

AFTER meditating, go to Log, then Activities.  Enter "Meditate" and enter the time you started and the duration.  For Calories, enter 01 (or whatever you think is true).   For time started, if I am not sure, I'll make it a bit earlier than started, for duration, if not sure, I'll make it a bit longer.

Then you can view it and see your bpm.

You can't edit, but you can delete and re-enter if in viewing it later, you can see the correct times and duration.

Here's a sample of my normal meditation results doing this. (I don't know why bpm is 63 when I meditate, and resting usual is 58. I guess I work hard at meditating).

Here's my meditation gone bonkers.

Meditation became very popular for the last few years and I really like that. It helps me a lot to find the balance between everything around me. My life became more stable and I can concentrate on everything I need. Btw, there is health and fitness section on your device. There you can find Mindfulness and here you can choose any session you find. I found out about this thing when I went to ayahuasca. A guy from our group showed me how to use it. That place was really cool because you couldn't do anything except meditation. If you're interested I can live the contacts here lnk. There you can find more information about this amazing place.

There is a section called mindfulness, and I guess it is on all Fitbit devices. There is a purple man with a white brain illustrated, and it's easy to find. It is a very nice stress management tool where you focus on what you sense and feel at the moment. It helped me a lot after I broke up with my partner. They brought me to https://spiritvineretreats.com, where we spent two weeks. I found a balance with myself and understood what I should do in this life. Fitbit was included, of course. Mindfulness helped me to fight anxiety and depression. Now I feel fresh and ready for new adventures in my life!
