How do you restart the fitbit when the screen is blank and the battery is halfway charged?

Hi RiseandShine,

I'm getting the smiley face and then nothing. No vibrations or anything. My app shows a dead battery. My watch was fine this morning. Battery was at 85% when I put on to charge. When I took it off the face was blank. My app showed battery at 20%. By the time I got to work the app showed battery at 6%. It tracked my day and my workout this evening, but the screen has been black all day. I put it on the charging cable when I returned home My 30 minutes ago. I've restarted the app. Downloaded an update and my watch still has a black screen and will not sync with the app.

My screen is failing slowly. Edges dark. The 7 step fix does not help since I can't see the screen well enough and I first got three vibrations not two.

Now what? Charge three was a replacement for Charge HR which is lost. Not sure how to proceed since I will get intermittent updates to my phone and laptop. Discouraged. Any suggestions RiseAndShine? Anyone?

I do get a s.iley face after the 15 seconds. Then I get a progress bar but only 6 vibes then blank. Am I supposed to be doing something else?

I did the same and see the smiley face but then rge screen is blank again

I bought an Apple Watch last July. I loved Fitbit and I miss it. But I’ve had a Fitbit since 2012 and I’ve bought 7! Apple Watches last for years. Fitbit needs to make a product that doesn’t die every 1.5 years.
