Welcome to the Fitbit Community @ShifuH. It's great to have you here. You can use Workout from the Exercise Shortcuts on your Fitbit Charge 2 to track your Tai Chi practice. If you don't have this option please go to the online Dashboard > Settings > Devices and scroll down until you see Edit Exercise Shortcuts. Add Workout and force sync by following @WendyB's instructions.
To select an exercise from your tracker Exercise Shortcuts you can press and hold the side button, over the exercise you'll track, until you see a stopwatch.
Let me know how it goes. Thanks for stopping by, see you around.

The strange part is that if you go into your exercise log and manually add an exercise, Tai Chi shows up as an available exercise. Why you can't add it to shortcuts is a mystery to me.
I found a temporary workaround. I used several calculators, and Tai Chi seems to burn almost the exact same calories per hour as Pilates. Since Pilates is an available exercise for shortcuts, I'm using that to log my Tai Chi sessions.
