Go to your profile settings at https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit
Scroll down to the "units" section and change the "length" unit from "centimeters" to "feet/inches". This will change the distances from metric to imperial so you'll get miles instead of kilometers
Once changed and saved the next time you sync your fitbit will be updated.
