@Sherea28 Nice work tracking down the other fields! Odd, this is still a problem.

Not really odd @Sherea28 Fitbit uses your phones location or the users registered country state city location to set the time. This is why Fitbit requires the user to provide this at the time of creating the account.
Because it is required we simply don't think of it, but somehow this info had been deleted.
Note to self, store this as a possible solution.

That is the dumest answer in the world. Where do I find the setting you mention. The watch does nothing. but tells me to relax.

Sorry @severett but your post asks where do you find the setting without mentioning which setting your looking for, and I'm not sure who the "you" is referring to.
If your asking about the time, i suggest to read the approved answer.

This is a joke.
In 2019 things should just work.
What other clock does not change automatically?
The watch syncs so there is communication.
Thank God Fitbit do not program aeroplanes!

@Goneftn the Charge 2 will change automatically for Daylight savings a back to regular.
Through the Fitbit app, change the timezone to automatic and fitbit will adjust the time on the tracker to match the phone during the next sync. Fitbit will set the time based on the phones location.
That sounds pretty automatic to me. Even the clocks that use WWV to set the time still need the user to tell the clock where they are located.

Sync it with the App on your computer or phone.

So your answer to a problem being caused by the august 2019 update is to give me an answer from 2017? thanks a whole heap. My phone now only syncs every once in a while when it wants to and most of the time cannot be talked into it 😞

What do you mean by "modify"?

@melifla the reason your vetting he same answer is because Fitbit only offers one of ways to change the time, and both of these ways are based on your location.
It has been this way since fitbits first tracker.
@Juliapat68 the time is changed by changing your timezone location, this can be done manualy or through the Fitbit app set automatic.

I seem to be having the same problem with my Fitbit charge 2 as well. I recharged it and it never went back to the current time. I looked into the setting time zone and all that looks to be set correctly.
It won't reset back any other suggestions? Seems that many are having the same issue with FCh2
I even tried turning it off and on from the watch and still no automatic change back to the current time.
Is this something to do with the website itself?
Any other suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks for your help,
Starrita

You could try what others say have worked
Set the timezone incorrectly, sync, then set it correctly and sync.

Thank you so much. Followed your clear instructions and the time magically updated.

CarlosMo...the first two steps to your instructions are completely wrong. All that you need to do is the following:
Good job, CarlosMo...you have done nothing but spin people in circles trying to figure out where to go.

How do you "force quit" the app?
04-14-2021 14:40

On Android through the phone settings / Apps / Fitbit /Stop App
If you don't have an android phone, use Google.
