How to record map for cycling activities with Charge 2?

Does anyone know how you map your cycle route on gps on the charge 2 as it only gives option for walk, hike or run , thanks

@SunsetRunner Thanks for stopping by! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with recording maps with your Charge 2. The Charge 2 doesn't have a GPS chip so it uses the one on your phone. The feature is called Connected GPS and you can follow these instructions to activate it. Remember that you will need to have your phone with your on your rides.

Hi l managed to set the gps for excersise on my charge 2 but it records as walk, cycle is there  on excersises app and on my charge 2 but the map records as a walk.  On the map for route it only gives the option for walk, hike or run ,when l recorded my cycle route it shows up at the bottom of the map as steps  Thanks
