it seems that maybe you havent removed the old device from your account.

you could try this to see if it helps:- in the app click on the card (top r/h corner) to view your account, select the device you wish to remove, scroll to the bottom of the page and select " remove this charge 2 "

i hope that works for you, good luck

Hey  @J10leigh, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! As @soccersnaps suggested, you have to remove the old Charge 2 from your account, then it will be available for your wife to use it with her account. If she has questions about how to set it up, she can review this help article: How do I setup my Fitbit device?

Let me know how it goes!

I received a new Versa for Christmas and my wife would like to use my old Charge 2.  I went about it a bit backwards in that I deleted the Charge 2 from my app before going to the website (as I almost never go there).  Now the Charge 2 no longer shows on my account, but it will not pair with my wife's phone as it has not reset.  Tried to reset it, but it fails each time.  About ready to use as a hammer because now both my wife and I have about had it.

Hey @TKell2014, welcome aboard! So you already deleted your Charge 2 from your Fitbit account but still not connecting with your wife's account, right? Ok, let me suggest you something else, could you please also "forget your device" from your phone? The tell your wife to try to set it up the Charge 2 on her phone again. I'd like to also know, which phone model is you wife using, is it a compatible device with Fitbit trackers? Check that out on this link.

I'll be around!

My wife was able to resolve the pairing of the Charge 2 with her phone so it is capturing her stats and not mine.

Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for the update @TKell2014! Sounds great that she can now enjoy the Charge 2 and it's features with her phone. 🙂
