How to sync my Charge 3 to a different phone

I am not able to figure out how to transfer my Fitbit from my old phone to a different phone! Can anyone help, please?

On your old phone (if you still have it) go into the bluetooth settings and "forget" any link to the fitbit.

Then, on the new phone, download the fitbit app and logon using the same ID and password you used when you originally set up your fitbit. Note, you should not create a new account.

All your data is held on the Fitbit servers rather than on the phone so it should all be there once you have logged on.
