Huawai P Smart 2019 no longer pairs with Charge 3

Fit it app on Huawai P Smart 2019 stopped syncing with Charge 3 around 3 September. Have tried EVERYTHING regularly since to fix it. Re-installed app, rebooted app, rebooted phone, ran Sync Fix app, followed numerous app settings instructions. While attempting to pair, still keep getting 'Sorry, the setup is taking longer than usual. Please be patient. We're on it!'

At a complete loss now for how to reconnect. Any different advice?!

Sorry to hear that your Charge 3 isn't syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Lets try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

 

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Also if you can, try using a different phone to see if your tracker works with it.
