I cannot read the display on my charge 3 outdoors and barely when indoors. I have the brightness set as normal and have tried restarting. The watch is practically useless to me at this stage.

Please make sure Sleep Mode and Do Not Disturb (DND) are turned off. In addition, you can set the brightness to auto to see if there is any change. For instructions on how to navigate your Fitbit device, please visit this article.
