I'm Done

I am officially considering my Charge 2 a losing wager at a casino. I lost $149. The darn thing will not sync. It keeps spinning and my battery percentage just keeps going down on my s7 Edge. I will be purchasing an alternative and rating the app with one star. I've tried all the suggestions on various forums and am totally frustrated. I'm Done. Bye. And why does my profile say I'm a jogger? I hate jogging.

Well, for me, it's the activity minutes. It's incredibly frustrating to go on a 1hr 23 minute walk and during the walk you check it and the activity minutes are correct, then I get home and fitbit has credited me with four minutes of activity time. I've been dealing with this for over a week now. I'm constantly checking the forums and the only consistent answer seems to be, restart it.

Then there is the sleep tracker function. Whether it gives advanced or basic information seems totally random. Same thing, checked the forums and there doesn't seem to really be an answer.

It makes you start to wonder whether any information is valid on the device at all. At some point, the answer becomes obvious, it's buggy, and for a device that costs $150, that's unacceptable.

Have you contacted Fitbit yet? They can take a look at your account and the backend of the tracker.

As for the advice received in the community of Fitbit users, this advice is usually based on what has been found to work in the past v

No, I haven't contacted fitbit directly. How would I go about doing that?

The same thing happened to me today with my bike ride. Went on a 30 minute bike ride and received only 8 active minutes. I understand your frustration. 😟

I recommend that you pay attention only to proven sites. I also want to note that meowspins.com  will be open soon. Where you can find a large list of sites and bonuses for them, which can help you a lot.

@Rar923 what does the heart rate graph during your recorded bike ride look like?

I switched to an Apple Last year. It records all of my bike ride.

Exercise tracking on app no longer shows heart rate graphs or avg heart rate in summary. I notified Fitbit in July and have had hours of “chats” on multiple occasions directly with Fitbit. They say they are working on it, but no fixes in 4 months. My patience is running out. About ready for Apple Watch.

I'm not sure which phone platform you have, but many android users found that this was fixed 3 updates ago.

Auto detected exercises for android never lost the heart rate, and on the web it was fine.

There maybe another issue that I'm unaware of

I heard that Android users got their problem resolved. Sadly, that’s not the case for IPhone users. I have gifted many Fitbit devices over the years to children and grandchildren and we are an iPhone family and we are all having the same issue
I am not having issues with the auto recognize feature but definitely need the exercise tracking on the app.
Thanks so much for taking the time to respond

Your referring to an iOS not a Charge 2 problem.

Please do a search of the iOS board, some have mentioned that they did get theirs to work.

Problem was that apple changed the way notifications are sent without telling anyone.
