I was sick last week and left my perfect Charge 2 on the clip charger. Now it won't turn on. And when I try to charge it flashes a grey screen. Have I fried it?

Hope you’re enjoying the forums @mountainwalk. I've moved your post from the Charge to Charge 2 board so this can help other users with the same tracker concerns. Well, we always recommend charging the Fitbit products for 1 - 2 hours tops every time is needed. My recommendation is restarting the Charge 2 following @HeydyF's instructions. If this does not work, please let me know so I can provide further assistance.
I'll be waiting your reply.

Hi MarlenFitbit,
I have the same problem, I know it was a bit dumb but I accidentally left my charge 2 charging for almost 24 hours. Please tell me there is something I can do and I won’t have to abandon it. The method you recommended was intact not working.

If it is any help @Pri2003 there is a charging control circuit and you can not over charge.
Now if the tracker got very hot then yes something is wrong.
I'll leave it up to @MarlenS to answer, if the restart did not work I'm not sure where to go.
Well as I think about it, try the restart procedure 3 times in a row.

@Pri2003 You haven't even told us if anything is wrong.. Fitbit has done extensive tests with long term charging and have not seen any adverse results.

Hi , I was a little worried when I forgot to take my wife’s Fitbit 2 off charge but in the morning after leaving it on for around 8 hours it was still ok , then again I forgot and left it on a good 40 hours and was still ok and working so I’ll try not to leave on again but it didn’t hurt mine at all I’m glad to say

The same happened to me, accidentally left my Charge 2 on charge for a couple of days as I've been busy moving house and now it's completely dead. No response to anything!
Is there any way of fixing this?
