If you're a runner, buy a Garmin

I will say I've had my Fitbit for 3 years and it's still running, so that's great. However; almost immediately after buying it I've had this same issue:

The GPS doesn't track properly.

I'm a runner so it's important to me to see my routes. I also have various other apps that connet with my Fitbit for the purpose of accuracy and personal improvement. My coaches see these things too.

The GPS tracker will either not come on or stop after I've started running. My routes will either not work or be very inaccurate on the map.

I've reset the device, let the battery drain out and fully charge, have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, unhooked and hooked the Bluetooth, pressed location on and off, pressed all day syncing on and off, and probably more things that I'm forgetting.

I'm going to buy a Garmin. I hear no complaints with those.

It is possible part of your issue could be with your phone's GPS, which your Charge 2 is using.  The Ionic is the only Fitbit model that has its own built-in GPS.

If you do switch to a Garmin, I hope it works well for you.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
