Inaccurate active minutes accumulation

Hello all,

Yesterday I thought I had reached my 30 minute workout time goal. My Fitbit reflected that I had reached 30 minutes but later as I was entering my last glass of water for the day, I noticed that the time reflected 26 minutes. Today, I have worked out for about 45 minutes straight and the active minutes on my Fitbit are 0. Is anyone else having this problem?

@Stephawk, welcome! It's great to see you around!

Let me help you with your active minutes count. This number won't be the same as your activity length as the way they are calculated is independent. It will count the time of the most effort you did on your activity. For example if you go for a run for an hour but start the first 10 minutes jogging, then increase the intensity for 20 minutes and finally start decreasing the speed, the activity will be for an hour but the active minutes may show only for the 20 most intense minutes. You can read more about active minutes here.

Let me know how it goes.

That explanation is understandable but does not address the Fitbit
reflecting 30 minutes on my wristband screen then reverting to 26 minutes a
few minutes later.
