A warm welcome to the Community @ElliotF. If your Charge HR display is not working, I recommend Restarting your tracker. After the restart process the display should work properly, if it doesn't feel free to contact our Support Team. For a faster response you can contact them via phone or chat.
Let me know how it goes.

I have the exact same issue. My Charge HR is about 18 months old. Did the reset fix the problem for you?

Welcome to the Forums @ElliotF! Hope you are having a great day. I would like to ask if you are still experiencing this issue with the 1 switching to a pixelated vertical column? Did you try the restart process as advised by @AlejandraFitbit?
Looking forward to your new comments!
