The original Charge models were throw away items at premium prices. Anybody know if the new Charge 3 model will allow for a battery replacement?

My fitbit 3 charger has just turned 6 months old and no longer holds the charge at all, is this normal?

I have a charge 3, the lights wont come on, the battery is dead, it wont sync, no vibration, no resets or reboots have worked. Charged for several days by computer and outlets. Nothing is working. It was also cleaned. What do i do?

Goodluck, I just got off the phone with support. Knowing they have issues based on a lot of responses in blogs they give the usual responses. Weren't willing to help. I think Fitbit has lost touch with alot of their customers and not willing to help them. Just a heads up. Based on my families experiences we will probably be moving away from Fitbit.

Thanks for your reply. I gave up and bought a samsung galaxy fit and love it. It has to be charged every few days or so, but at least I can change the battery. Fitbit has a better app, but I not this one has all the same features

Hi
I won’t either. Had my Fitbit replaced twice .... only had it for 7 months. They will never get any $$ from me again!
Me 2....loss all confidence in their products.
They need to step up fix the issues or
And still....Fitbit Charge 4 still can’t replace the battery.?

If you puchase the Charge 3 I suggest purchasing the exyended warranty. I am on my second charge 3 tracker. they only lasted 6-7 months each. Not happy with the 1 year warranty or the fact that Fitbit will only offer a discount on a future purchase after problems with the second tracker after 7 months.

seems to be the normal for me. 2 trackers, each tracker only lasted 6-7 months.

I bought the charge 3 because ot tracks swimming. But even though I followed instructions and dried it/my wrist off after each water submersion, after 2 swims the battery life greatly diminished. I’ve had the charge 3 for 17 months. The battery is now completely dead and gets very hot when I unsuccessfully try to charge it. Very disappointing. I will not replace with a fitbit.

I don’t need to recharge everyday, however my Charge 3 is losing time. I sync it and then it starts losing time very quickly. Right now the correct time is: 5:17pm and my Fitbit is showing the time as: 1:42am. Is there a fix for this? Or am I out the cost of this Fitbit?
I have a Charge HR that was still working, however the small loop that holds the band in place, broke, and there are no replacement parts available, so I thought that I was upgrading by purchasing the Charge 3. The notifications stopped working a few months ago and now the time is screwed up, maybe I’ll look into an Apple Watch!!!

Totally disappointed with this company. Bought a Charge 3 for my dad and within a year started to have problem with battery. Can't hold charge for more than 4 hours. Finally managed to contact them and they told me i need to get a new one because it is just over one year.
This company will never get my business. Overpriced and low quality tracker. For S$238 i got this **ahem** product with a standard reply from their customer service who kept saying that i need to get a new one and no solution how to replace the batttery.
I suggest all of you stay away from this company. Luckily i moved to Apple iWatch and very happy about it. The comparison of the customer service level between Apple and Fitbit is like day and night.
Sorry Fitbit, i will make sure everyone i know will know about your product quality issue and **ahem** service, and skimming your customers. You will not survive long with this business attitude.

My Charge 3 lasted from April 2019 to June 2020. Two months past one year warranty. Fitbit offered a 25 percent discount to purchase a new one. Just a "throw away get a new one attitude" that I hate. If I wanted to do that then I would have bought a $30.00 tracker expecting it to not last.
Very dissatisfied with the Charge 3 and Fitbit.

go to your dashboard at the very bottom of the page in fine print is help push it. That takes you to support which is chat line and a phone number.
