Is Oxygen Estimated Variation available on Charge 3?

Hi!

I just purchased a Fitbit Charge 3, I want to use it to analyze my Sleeping. The Shop Assistant told me that the Charge 3 is also measuring the Oxygen Variation to detect Breathing problems. However, I can't find this data. While reading postings in this Forum, I've found that is not yet available.

Does anybody know when SPO2 data is available on the Charge 3?

Thanks.

Use of the SPO2 sensor only recently started to rollout to some users (seemingly on a random basis). The latest post I have seen from a moderator is at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-Smartwatches/Estimated-Oxygen-Variation/m-p/3960283#M145974

The good news:

You can download your whole datafile (in your profile) in a .zip file, which I guess holds the whole data that fitbit has collected from you. Under it you'll find files named estimated_oxygen_variation-yyyy-mm-dd with all this data collected since the device purchase (in my case since 2018!). You can plot them in excel and see what I assume that will be included in the EOV graph that fitbit intends to roll out in 2020.

The bad news:

The number is a -100 to 100 figure which I assume just sets some variation below/above a 0 level of reference (whatever it might be). So,it seems to be useless as an absolute value of SPo2.

The worst news:

I correlated the numbers in this files with those from a pulseoximeter during the night, and I found  NO correlation at all (even taking into account the the time seems to be GMT). So, I'm puzzled and with many doubts about this data

Hope it helps.

Hi Joseph, where can i download this data file?  Fitbit.com or through my iphone app or both?  I couldn't find the data file.

Mine showed up yesterday with the graph showing and I updated my app yesterday afternoon so it no longer shows lol. Not sure getting my data will matter now.  I was in the hospital in November due to low oxygen volume in my blood from pneumonia (went to outpatient and they sent me immediately to the hospital)  I was curious what it showed then as they wouldn't let me out due to the oxygen levels falling when i sleep.  I became close to normal again in December but was low 90's for a couple weeks.  I'd love to see the charts for then.
