I see so many negative comments on the charge 3 it is deterring me from purchasing. Does anyone like the charge 3? Is it worth purchasing? I have the alta now and want to upgrade to something with a screen.

I wouldn’t buy it again! What a waste of money. It constantly has syncing problems and I don’t get notifications. I’m on my third one under warranty so it’s not the fitbit device, it’s the app/software. I’ve been on long long long frustrating calls trying to make it work. Currently my problem has been escalated to someone higher and I still don’t get notifications and have syncing problems. I highly recommend finding another product, not a fitbit product.

Do not buy the fitbit charge 3. I purchased mine on January 2019 it completely died on me in November 2019. Took it in on January the 4th 2020 to the shop I purchased it from and 3 weeks later they replaced it without giving me a slip as proof for the new watch. Not even 3 weeks later and the new watch did exactly the same. I am not even going to bother taking it back. I will never purchase a Fitbit product again as the shop told me they had lots of fitbit returns.

I just upgraded to charge 3 last week because my Alta HR band broke. I love the size, battery life and additional options of my Alta. I do not love all the issues I've had with tracking walks and runs. The GPS is unreliable and is inconsistent with the actual pace and distance that I walked/ran, so its not doing what I need it to do so I unfortunately will be returning but no other options look viable to me so I will just return to the Alta for now.

So far so good for me. I got it mainly for the heart rate sensor (works great). To a lesser degree for the sleep monitoring( good enough), EOV(not so good) and form factor (love that). Having said all that I just got it in January of this year. If it holds up I will hold onto it until the charge 4 or whatever replaces it comes out. If it breaks then I will get the best Garmin or Polar watch I can afford. In my opinion there's too much competition to make devices that don't last at least 3-4 years.

Charge 3 is great when it works. I am on my 3rd one in a year. The first one got lines on the screen so I couldn’t see the numbers well. Fitbit replaced it because it was still under warranty. The 2nd one was not real accurate on the step count and had sync issues. I wrote the company they used the covid excuse as I have still not heard from them in 2 months. I bought another one because I like the features on the 3. A month later I am now having sync issues again. I uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, updated and all that good stuff. Still having sync issues.

I have a charge 3 and yes at the moment it is having a few problems which hopefully will be sorted when the new firmware update arrives. I actually love my charge 3 and will be really happy when it is once again doing all the things it is supposed to do. The negative comments you are seeing on here at the moment come from the frustration we are all feeling at the speed at which the firmware is being rolled out 😊

I am on my second one in 7 months. The first one was replaced due to warranty since it would only hold a charge for about 10 minutes after just 3 months. The app hasn't worked for me for over a month. There are lines running through the face that make it hard to see what is on the screen, and I went from holding a charge for 7 days to about 1 1/2 days. Since I have had other Fitbit products without a problem, I am considering jumping to a Charge 4 and giving the company one more chance. Still this is a lot of money to pay for a device that doesn't even last 6 months.

I've had a Charge 3 for about 9 months and it's been giving me a lot of problems lately. Customer Service is no help at all so I would look for something else. The Charge 2 was much more reliable than the 3.

I'm now on my 4th one. Two had the screen going blank problem one the heart rate monitoring stopped working. If you contact customer service they will replace it. I have a charge 2 that I've never had any issues with I think there were just issues with the 3.
