It’s stuck on “www.fitbit.com/setup”

It ran out of battery while I was sleeping so I stuck it on charge this morning but instead of showing it’s usual “charging” symbol, it just scrolls www.fitbit.com/setup. I left it charging for hours.

I’ve tried all the other suggestions on here and tried to set up again but it can’t even find my phone’s Bluetooth even though my phone says it’s connected to my Charge 2.
I've never had trouble with it before, can anyone advise me what to do?

Your charge 2 does not find the phone @BashBrighton, you want the Fitbit app to find the Charge 2. 

First I would do a restart. 

Then try a setup. If you have more problems, please respond with the phone model and at what point the setup fails, along with any error messages.

My fitbit is stuck in this mode where the logo showsup with a scrolling message with the url - www.fitbit.com/setup

I am unable to reset.. I have tried all the recommended steps - plugging it in, holding the power button down for a few seconds and unplugging, etc - but it comes back to this mode.
