I know this has been answered for several times.
The Status is Not currently planned, and we can use some third party apps to sync data.
But something is changed.
Fitbit was acquired by Google last year.
I think it's time to support official integration with Google Fit.

I hear what you’re saying, @KYiF , but this question would be better addressed to Alphabet, Google’s parent company who is actually acquiring Fitbit. Since they are are not releasing any plans, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I don't think so.
Each company in Alphabet have responsibility on their own.
I don't know previous problem is Fitbit met some issue but Google don't support,
or Fitbit just don't want to share data with Google.
But neither of these is a problem now.

Google has not acquired Fitbit. Their are still questions the federal government has as well as a few other governments. I'm also not aware of the stock holders have approved on both sides.
As for Google connecting to Fitbit, they have always been able to do this. Fitbit has never stopped Google from linking up if they wanted to.
