I just got a brand new fitbit charge 2 for my birthday but whenever I try to use it the screen goes black and it turns off suddenly. The fitbit has been charging for several hours but it still won't work. I've also tried to restart it several times and looked up on ways to fix it on google but nothing seems to work. Please help!

Sorry to say, @clarrrclott , but it looks like your device is faulty. Can you ask the person who purchased it for you to take it back to whomever sold it?
