The latest update killed my Charge 4. It went to one charge every 6 days to one charge lasting less than 2 hours. This happened immediately after updating.
I have contacted fitbit 3 times and all I am offered is 35% off another fitbit.
My fitbit is 15 months old, how convenient for their 12 month warranty.
I’ve had a fitbit for 6 years and this interaction has left me bitter. No more fitbit for me.

I started having to charge it more often after the last update as well. It also stopped tracking my heart rate and sleep, and mine is only 1 week old! (I have been a charge 4 user for almost 3 years but this device was brand spankin'!)

Same thing here. Updated and just completely died. Will not charge or turn on. Unacceptable.

The question is can we revert back to a previous update and restore the watch to its former useful state?

Mine did exactly the same. It too is only 14 months old. I was very happy with it. I Would use it to exercise everyday (including swimming twice a day) and the battery would last between 5 to 6 days. As soon as I did the latest update it wouldn't even last 3 hours. I've taken to charging it in-between exercises and can't wear it to bed to monitor my sleep anymore. All you get from Fitbit is them denying there was an issue and giving advice on how to conserve battery power! I'm very unhappy!

Mine has just done the same thing. If I hold the side button in it just vibrates none stop😠

I updated my charge 4 as well. I only updated it a couple days ago. And my charge 4's battery has gone from 3-4 days to 2-3 hours. FITBIT WHY! I also got the watch from a really good friend.

Mine is doing the same thing and I've only had it since June! I can't get it to sync to my phone at all, the last sync was Sept 29th. I am really disappointed.

Mine just died while on the charger too. The green light on the back flashes sometimes, but not as much as it used to. I can't get it to show that it is charging. The screen won't come on at all. The side button does nothing. I've only had it about a year. Second one I've had to replace within a year, granted the previous one was a few years old. This one should have lasted longer than it has! Not going to buy another one. Switching to a different brand!

I turned off the option to "screen wake" when turning my wrist. I see a dramatic improvement in battery life.

Is your Fitbit Charge 4 using firmware version 1.100.76?
That's the version that users state is draining their batteries quickly.

I’m experiencing same problem and not sure why all of a sudden in the last day that this is occurring. I’m on the version mentioned and frustrated that this has rendered my device useless and the issue appears to be ignored by Fitbit with nil acknowledging the report nor a solution after all the time that has passed.

Mine did this exact samt thing. Once or twice it would show a smiley face when plugged into the charger but now nothing.
