Lines of dead pixels across screen

Over the last few days I have noticed one, then 2, now multiple lines of dead pixels across the screen of my charge. I have done the suggested steps to change the clock face and attempt the long restart. I still have the lines of bad pixels.  Are there other options to get this working properly?

I too am having the same issues and a hard reboot didn’t do anything.

Has anyone suggested how to fix it?

I have tried the two suggestions I have seen in other posts: hard restart while attached to the charger and/or changing the clock face. Neither worked.  I am hoping there are other suggestions.

Have you tried these?  Did it work for you?

I have tried both of those as well and it didn’t work. I am hoping someone from Fitbit might offer some help.

I’ve had the same issue with my Charge 3. I’ve changed the clock face and restarted my Fitbit. Depending on the clock face I choose I can only read the time or my steps and have to swipe to bring the data to the part of the screen that doesn’t have lines.

I hope that there is a solution for this issue. Now my charge has so many horizontal black line (dead pixels) it is hard to read or use it. I have to sync to view any stats. This is frustrating. This is exactly what happened to the charge 2 I previously had just before it died.

Mine also has this problem. I've done the restart on the charger and changed the clock also. It's quite frustrating as I can't read anything on the screen it's that bad. Sometimes nothing comes on the screen 🤷🏼‍:female_sign:

Is it because the charge 4 is out?

That’s an interesting point!  I wouldn’t think the two are related. I think that it’s that these watches just aren’t as water resistant as they are suggested to be.  Or maybe they have some bad product that doesn’t last like it should. This is my 3rd Charge now. While I really like this tracker, I am disappointed that this screen issue is happening again.
