Logout of app - forgets all past days data?

Why did app forget all past days data when I logged out?   Also made me repair my Charge 3.

Did you log back in?  With same account?  Often when people think they lost their data, it's because they logged in with an old fitbit account/email.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
