Looking for suggestions - poison ivy!

Hello folks! I still have my trusty FitBit2 after a few years, and it still works like a champ!

Recently I came into contact with poison ivy, and possibly poison sumac. I removed the band and threw it away. No use trying to save it if there could be urushiol on it. However, my little device may also have urushiol on it. I have wiped it down twice with rubbing alcohol (I used a cotton pad to wipe down the device). Front, back, sides, you name it. Other than this, what else would I need to do to ensure there is no more of that nasty oil on my device? I am currently not wearing it because I have the rash around my wrist. So I do have some time before I can wear my beloved FitBit again. In the meantime, I want to make sure I have that baby sparkling clean and free of urushiol.

Thanks for any advice you might have!

Hello @BethConsugar  poison ivy and oak can be horrible on a person. From what I've read, the rubbing alcohol can take care of it. Just keep rubbing it a few times a day until your wrist is ready for it to return to normal use. In the meantime, why not put the tracker in a little bag and wear it in your pocket. It should still count some of your steps and give you a feeling that you've not entirely lost the use of it. Let us know what happens.
