Lost charge 2 is not connected but battery keeps registering lower in fitbit app. Is it nearby?

Lost my Charge 2 and it's not syncing but the app is saying the battery level is getting lower. It is also unpaired from the fitbit app. Does that mean that the Charge 2 is nearby somehow, although I have tried searching with other apps and it is not showing up.
