After just one month, I lost my Fitbit charge 2. Is there a way to check by the gps to see where it might be?
Thanks!

Sorry about your buddy @Dgreenfield16 are y9u able to sync to it? Should the battery still be charged? If so and you cant sync to it, then it most likely will be more than 30-50 feet away.

I had trouble with the band frequently while working. The band would disconnect under pressure frequently. I had finally lost the Fitbit Charge 2 while running. Did anyone else have a similar problem or any suggestions about a better quality band?

How accurate is it to location? Did it tell you the room it was in or (for instance) the corner of a couch it was in? Thanks!

@Gab122 it has a simple meter. The stronger the signal, the faster the beeps and the higher the meter shows.
The stronger the signal the closer the tracker.

Set the Alarm on your iPhone FitBit App (It will need to be paired to your Fitbit Charge HR. If you are in range you can set the alarm for a minute out and when it goes off it will vibrate and you should be able to hear it.

Use the app called FindMyFitbit, you need to do it before the battery dies on the tracker.

@reederang @elygudiel It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
@elygudiel sorry to hear about your missing Charge 2. Did you try following the suggestions in my previous post or the ones shared by @reederang and @Rich_Laue. They should be able to help you find your tracker as long as it still has a battery charge.
I look forward to your reply!

These apps call out Fitbit trackers and looks for a response over Bluetooth so yes the tracker needs to have a good battery.

If someone has hooked it up to there account. it will disappear from your account.

@Leena09 Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry to hear that you lost your Charge 2. Yes your tracker must have some battery life so it is emitting the bluetooth signal that the app detects. As also @Rich_Laue explained if someone else setup your tracker on their account it will automatically be removed from yours but you won't see any information from the new account. Sadly it won't be able to be found. Make sure you check the last time your tracker synced and remember where were you so you can search that area if possible.
Keep me posted!

Thanks yes I'm Nt sure what to do as I think I lost it in Eastbourne an I live in upht. Bt as it ws two wks ago it shouldn't be possible that my fitbit wud stil hv battery life or be workn if lost at beach with rain the last wk. My pH hasn't detected it bt showd a yellow battery signal. Does that mean I could hv it in my home possibly if my pH indicates battery isn't dead yet or is it jst the last reading recorded 2wks ago.

@Colamaddison Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry for the late reply and to hear about your missing Charge 2. As you mentioned on your first post the battery status you see is for the last time it synced (which was 2 weeks before you posting here). At that time the tracker was most likely out of charge and thus it wouldn't be possible to locate it. Since it is lost I suggest you let our Support team know about this to see what they can offer you. You will get an email from them.

Yes I did - I feel the design isn't fit for purpose when you use it all the time (i.e. day and night x 24/7). I think you will find it was broken and I've had 2 replaced under warranty now for exactly that purpose. The assistant said she sees a lot of this and had replaced one earlier that day. The plastic breaks, but it looks like it is just the band coming off, and I think a mistake easily made.

I gave up with the Fitbit recommendation (Lightblue explorer or something like that) as it couldn't pick up the fitbit outside where I knew I'd lost it. Was very frustrating as was in a garden and we kept looking everywhere (as kept syncing with my phone so knew was in a 20 metre radius). I eventually paid for the App (find my fitbit) and it located it within 3 to 5 feet) using their COLD/WARMER/HOT scenario. Even with hot couldn't find it properly until we tipped out the contents of the, thankfully dry, compost bin!!! It has gone down the side so I would never of found it just looking or without this app that located within a small area. When back into the shop that day and they agreed the strap was broken (again) rather than just come undone. Replaced under warranty and this time was only 6 months old!

On the fitbit app it says my Fitbit Charge 2 was synced last in May, 2018. If It says the battery is half full still is that a error? Also if you know it got stolen should you go get it from the person who stole it?
