After just one month, I lost my Fitbit charge 2. Is there a way to check by the gps to see where it might be?
Thanks!

Well of you know who stole it, I would ask for it back.

The battery level reported is the level reported during the last sync in May.

The fact that it is still connected to your account, means no one has set it up to a different account.

I would bring your charger. If you can get ahold of it, you could charge it up long enough to turn it on and then do a sync whole it is charging to prove it is yours.

My friend had her Charge 2  taken while taking care of Bills mother, Bill denied taking it.  She noticed it synced and had a friend send a text saying, "Bill, give Susie her Fitbit back" .When Susie saw Bill look at his wrist she confronted him.

My fitbit popped off my wrist and I determined it was at home still because it was still syncing.  I was amazed that LightBlue found it!  For the $6 it was well worth it and I found it in 5 minutes.  I had been looking all weekend.  Thank you for the tip!

Bluetooth finder worked perfectly for me!!!    I lost mine in the midst of packing and traveling.  By trying a sync, I knew the band was with me but I had no idea if it was in the garbage bag, recycle bag, in a crevice in my car, in some other bag, etc... In about 1 minute I was able to find the fitbit.  THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TIP!

I have a charge 2, and I can’t find it but it’s in my house. I can’t find that app you were saying. Can you please help me! It’s only at 50%. Just tell my the exact app please!! Thank you!

@Happy_123 the app is easy to locate, simply got their web page. https://findmyfitbit.com/

You can also set a silent alarm but this works best in the quet of the dark.

I found my device with "FindMyDevice" which is the name of the app.  I looked all weekend and finally paid the $6 on a Sunday before I lost my charge.  Others said they found theirs with doing some process with just the Fitbit app.  I didn't want to unpair and take a chance.  I found it in less than 5 minutes.  You can do either but I don't know how to do the process with the Fitbit app and I'm reasonably computer savvy.  I'm sure you can google it if you want to save the money.

Glad you found it @dzimmie

This app is one of the higher ranking Bluetooth finding devices. It is also fun to open when in a crowd where it will see multiple Fitbits.

Through the fitbit app, the only option is to set some alarms and see if you can hear the vibration. Of course this will also run the battery down.

Unpairing the tracker is when the user removes the tracker from the phones Bluetooth and may be helpful if the app can not communicate with the tracker.

If the tracker has been removed from the Fitbit account, the only option will be to use an app like find my Fitbit.

I used the "Finder for Fitbit Lite" app to find my lost Charge 2 after trying several apps.  I did use the free version.  The ads that constantly popped up were frustrating and I still had to search the area vigorously after I got close, but I don't think I would have found it without using the app.

Hi,

(If there is another time it happens)!!

I lost my Charge 2 for a couple of days and was going crazy and then it came to me. I thought I must of lost it out but I had to check home AGAIN. Without downloading any apps or unpairing Bluetooth all I did was a simple sync. Once it said 'sync a moment ago' I knew it was definitely in the house. I then went to notifications and kept sending call test notifications and followed the vibrations until I found it!

...... On the slats of the bed under the mattress from when I lifted it to change the sheets. 🤦

Glad you found it @10kStepr

I find the find my Fitbit app works nice in that it gives a signal streangth getting me close to the tracker, then I send a test notification from the Fitbit app.

I installed the free app Fitbit Finder and  worked great! I found it immediately in 3 minutes after following your  review in Fitbit community that advised to remove the Fitbit device from the blue tooth setting on my phone. Thanks for sharing the info and to the founder for offering it free!! I was first confused by the msg and was a little scared to even remove it. Device was in my house and my battery was full and synced on my phone. Even though I knew it I got tired of looking for it for over 30 minutes and I decided to download the app. Thanks a lot!

Can you clarify the “free” find your fit bit app and where to get it. Every time I try to download they want to charge me.
I thought my Fitbit charge 2 was lost in a store ( carry it in my pocket when pushing a cart). But it’s syncing and shows battery 49% so might I find in in my house?

I went near my car and wouldn’t sync

meant to try Fitbit finder before battery goes dead. Thanks

Ok so I now have an apple watch but I still have the app on my phone, I
think. Try "Find My Fitbit - Finder App" by Bickster LLC.

I opened it and it found all my Bluetooth devices in my house including my
laptop, apple watch and all my Tile trackers.

It has a black background with a magnifying glass. I'll see if I can send a
picture from my phone.

Hope that helps!
