Every so often I get an email saying my battery is low. Often I see this in the morning as I'm preparing to go out, the email having been sent during the night. This means there's no time to charge it and the battery is dead for most of the day.
I have asked tech support if there's any way of changing this, but they say not at present. So I was wondering if enough people have this issue they might change it, to ensure the email is sent earlier.

@SunsetRunner A warm welcome to our Community!
Let me help you with your low battery email notifications. The email notification depends on how often your device syncs. It will be issues when your device is at 25% or 20% battery level. Still you could simply charge it while you shower in the morning. This is what I personally do and this way I keep it charged during the week. Or at leas add the battery icon to check it periodically during your work week by following these instructions.
Let me know how it goes.

The point is that the notification comes often in the middle of the night or
when I'm unlikely to read email. I often just look at the app in the
evening, rarely the device itself. The battery indicator in the app is
hopelessly inadequate. It will show orange and half full, then around 1am
there's an email to say it's low and by the time I put it on it's flat.
Needs someone to think this through properly.

Since the firmware update a few days ago it has been behaving worse. Two days ago the indicator was showing orange in the app so I didn't put it on charge. Then yesterday I noticed the display wasn't showing on the device itself, so it had gone flat, quite quickly it seemed. I put it in the charger and it showed the charging icon, although I noticed it was different to normal, across rather than along the display. Some time after this I got a low-battery email!
This morning I went to put it on and found it was still showing no charge, but the icon was the right way around.
Why isn't it charging?
