Mac book will no let me sync my Fitbit Charge

My Mac book will not let me sync my charge  fit bit. I have tried everything including uninstalling app and re installing it.   very frustrated Any help out there

Hello @Rormag and welcome to the Help forum.  Can you please provide a little more information about the Charge model you use?  If you have a newer model Charge (3,4,5), you must use a compatible phone or tablet.  You use some software called Fitbit Connect with a Mac.  There are two compatibility issues.  Newer Fitbits just aren't compatible with Fitbit Connect.  Older model trackers that can use Fitbit Connect have a different problem with Macs.  There are Bluetooth issues with newer Mac OS.  Anything newer than Mojave (I think) has this Bluetooth incompatibility.

 

I looked at your profile and I can see that you are a new user.  But you posted in a forum for older model trackers and some clarification will help.  Both the Charge and the Charge HR are legacy devices.  They can be problematic, period.
