I have been trying to sync my Charge HR to my android phone (motorola G5) and it keeps asking me to set up my device and sending me those 4 numbers over and over and it won't move past it.

I have deleted my account, updated my phone, updated my fitbit, factory reset my fitbit, uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app, reset my bluetooth, enabled all sorts of connections, disabled all sorts of connections and after about 3-4 months of trying and giving up, I'm throwing in the towel.  I can't even get it to send me a verification email at this point.

If you have any other suggestion to fix it, I'd love it.  More than anything, I'd love for you to fix it for me - remotely or whatever.  I don't want this hassle any more.  I'm fed up and angry.

Please send help because I'm about to run over this Charge HR with my vehicle without an ounce of caring.

@SunsetRunner I’m sorry to say it’s not the Charge HR, it’s your phone. It’s not on the list of supported devices.

Good point, @SunsetRunner . If a device is not on the list of supported devices, it simply means Fitbit has nor tested it and cannot say for sure that it is compatible. Unfortunately, it sounds like @SunsetRunner has done a good job of trouble shooting the issue. Perhaps someone else in this thread can let us know if they have successfully connected ... and how they did it.

@SunsetRunner  It will be supported. It takes time to test all the new phones coming out

Thanks for the help and advice everyone...I'm going to see if I can get it to work with my computer.  I am 99.9% sure it'll work with my computer as it does meet the requirements on that front.

Still frustrating.  And I don't ever want to be forced to buy a newer FitBit just because it is "outdated" but still works.

I was told by a FitBit tech some time ago when I could not setup a Charge 2 using FitBit Connect on my PC, that if I borrowed someones phone and got the Charge 2 setup, the sync portion FitBit Connect would still work with my PC. So with luck, if you get the FitBit setup to work from some other device, the sync may work to your phone.

Also, if you are using a PC; the Windows 10 app is far more likely to work than the Windows 7 FitBit Connect program.

@jt_stl  Dont know why you were told that. You can still down load the Connect software

I updated mine not to long ago and it works fine on my computer
