Manual log for swimming meters no more than 999 in distance input box?

I have been manually logging my swims ever since I joined Fitbit and I have always been able to log the distance I have swam in metres in full. Often I will swim at least 2000 metres and I have been able to log this in the distance box but suddenly yesterday, and since yesterday I have only been able to log three figures in that field which limits it to 999 m or less.

please can you help Fitbit, as something has gone wrong in the app and I am not able to log the distance in metres because the field has suddenly become limited to 3 digits, why is this?

Hooray! At last I'm able to input how many metres I have swam when logging manually on the Fitbit app. This is for the first time in 3 weeks, since the distance field, all of a sudden, would only allow 3 digits. No reply from Fitbit but the issue seems to have been fixed😃

Still cannot manually log my swim in meters above 3 digits. Fitbit please can you correct the 'distance' field on the app? The swimming log is faulty enough with the same calorie output showing for hugely different distances! Now I cannot even log the distance manually. As it is I have to refer to an alternative swim calculator for a correct calorie output?  The swim tracker shows no heart rate which is SO frustrating when it is possible to track heartrate in the water when tracking a 'workout' which gives a good indication of heartrate in the water.  Is it so hard to make the swim log work even manually? Please Fitbit help!

Same here. I swam last week and logged 1500 with no problem. As of today, I cannot log any more than three digits. I've stopped using my Charge 3 in the pool because it doesn't log the swims correctly, so this is how I log my swims. I'm very eager to have this fixed!!!

Separate question. Is there any way to log workouts on the website (not on the mobile app)? That would've been a nice alternative but it seems impossible.

Edit: Never mind, I figured this out.

Received my charge 3 today and was going to log my morning swim only to encounter the same problem.

The temporary fix seems to be logging the swim on the website.

Same issue, since early Feb 2019 cannot log more than three figures on swim, please sort the app. I can force it sometimes on the PC app, but still then only shows yards not metres and metres is my default setting. Please fix!

It's now 22nd Feb and the problem if logging swim distances greater than 3 digits still exists! As my Flex2 has never successfully identified my swims (although it does think ironing us swimming!) I have always logged swims manually. Now I can't even do that! Does anybody from Fitbit ever read these comments because I can't find any replies from them to even indicate they're aware of the problem!

No reply from Fitbit and no resolution to an obvious fault!! So fustrating! Still having to go on the website to log any swimming.

Sure,  when on the app go into Weekly Exercise and tap the clock in the top right hand corner and select swim to log it manually.

If on the website go to Log tab and then to Activities tab at the top of the page and enter yr swim in the Log Activitiws box.

Hope that helps.
