Metal or magnetic bands as a subsitute for rubber bands to eliminate rash

Sick and tired of these **ahem** rashes, I get one from the band not the metal bit. I've had this with the original Fitbit band and 3rd party replacement one, both rubber.

Wondering if people have fared better with the magnetic/metal bands, and how do those cope during exercise?

With my Charge 2 I used a magnetic metal mesh band, never a problem with a rash or during exercise. With the stock band (I do like it by the way) on my new Charge 3, lots of irritation. So I've switched it to the other wrist and loosened it up a little while I wait for the mesh band I just ordered from Amazon to arrive.

Fitbit sells metal bands for the tracker. Technically they only sense change in motion of direction and speed.

Your tracker has motion sensors and does not look at magnetic fields.
