Hello, my fitbit has been missing for a few days now, I have just gone to my app and was able to sync it - does this definitely mean it is nearby? As I then also looked at my steps and according to the page it has been recording my steps in the last few days...but I have not had it on?! Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the Community Forums @A1983.
Thanks for the details shared on your post. Please note that in order for the devices to sync, they should be about 20 feet, which means that your device is nearby, so I suggest reviewing the tips on this help article to find your Fitbit device.
Hope this helps.
