Missing Low Battery Alert on Charge 3

ANSWERED

Hello- with previous fitbits, I received both an email notification and a device alert when the battery on my fitbit was low. My Chart 3 is not providing these alerts, leading to the battery dying just before exercising. I have checked all the settings and have it set to alert me when battery is low but its clearly not happening. any advice? using latest iOS, latest Charge 3 firmware.

Thanks!

Hey there @SunsetRunner, it's nice to see you here! Thanks for checking the settings to make sure you have notifications enable. Nice way to go!

Go to this page (notifications) and make sure to notifications for low battery are on for both mobile and email. If they are, turn them off and save. Then turn them back on and save. You should receive notification afterwards!

On the tracker, check your battery level at any time: from the clock face, swipe up. The battery level icon is in the top-left corner of the screen.

Your tracker continues to track your activity until your battery runs out.

I'll be around if you need further assistance!

Thanks Maria. I have tried turning the notifications for email and mobile off and back on. We will see what happens with the next low battery as its now fully charged.

I am also having this issue and trying this solution.

At what percentage of charge is the low battery notification supposed to be pushed out, please?

I’ve done all that, and followed all troubleshooting advice including turning on and off bluetooth, pairing and unpairing device, restarting device, restarting iphone, etc etc to no avail. i keep getting notifications that i chose to disable and not getting those that i chose to enable, both on device and on email. i have tried doing all the above on my app and using web browser.

feels like a bug. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Geek squad were most helpful on some issues, but finally had to replace the fitbit for iother issues..

I asked a question on this site and they said i broke the rules and came across to them as borderline hostile.

I just decided to use the Fitbit for the few things it 'will' do.

SUCKS!!!!!

I always try Marte but two of your moderators came on to me pretty good and I do not want any of your people to think that I am a borderline  hostile personality!!!!!!

I am experiencing the same problem. I have tried your suggestion more than once (at least 4 times!) and nothing.

After the last update I had problems and had to re-install my Charge 3, after that I got a '!' exclamation notification on tracker but no email or text - unfortunately this was the only time - have not had any notifications since then

I'm on my fourth FitBit (Charge, Charge HR, Charge 2, and Charge 3) and the low battery notification has never worked; just the FitBit dies one day without every a warning of a low battery.  I've also had various iPhones during this time, so it's not a problem with my phone.  Trying the recommended "fixes" has never helped.  The only time I'll get a notification is when I open the app, but I don't use the app very frequently.

I've got a ingenious idea: how about a low battery warning on the watch itself rather than a notification on my phone or an email?

It's bugs like this that drive me nuts with FitBit.  There are some boneheaded design decisions in such obvious features.
