Missing heart rate stats in "track my exercise"

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For periods when I used "track my exercise" I used to get average heart rate, minutes in fat burn, minutes in cardio, and minutes in peak, in addition to a map of my hike. Now I only get the map and how long it took me to complete each mile. I can't figure out how to get the earlier (and to me more useful) display back. Did Fitbit change the display, or did I screw up some setting?

Hello @Klaus2, welcome to the Community Forums!

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Also, which device you're using to check this information? Are you using an iOS, Android or your computer? This only occurs with a specific exercise or with all of them? If possible, please send me a screenshot of this issue so we can move forward. You can refer to this post to attach the image in your post.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I’m having the same issue on my Apple iPhone 6.  When I called help today, they told me it never tracked heart rate in the track my exercise, which I assured them was false as I did it all summer.  It quit working for me at the end of August.  I actually just noticed it about a week ago.  They tell me there is no fix as it has never done it.  You can get the heart rate without the voice cues if you track from your tracker and nor your phone. I want both the voice cues and heart rate though.  I was basically told I’m out of luck with that.  I’m looking for a new tracker that will do this. Unfortunately after using Fitbit for years, I may be looking elsewhere now.

RE: missing display of cumulative minutes in fat burn, cardio, and peak heart rates

Hola Ricardo!

Here are the answers to the questions in your email

When was the first time you experienced this? The change in displays happened between July 28 and July 30

How many times since then? The change in displays has stayed the same ever since July 30

Which device you're using to check this information? iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Pro all had the same change in display

This only occurs with a specific exercise or with all of them? It happens when using the "track my exercise” option, the + on the running person icon in the app display

please send me a screenshot of this issue See below screenshots from MacBook Pro display

Here is a screenshot from July 28, the last day I got the average heart rate, cumulative minutes in fat burn, minutes in cardio, and minutes in peak. Also on the IOS devices, I don't get the cumulative elevation gain any more.

Here is what I have been getting since July 30:
Notice the incorrect cumulative elevation gain.

I am also having this issue.  I used to track this for workout improvement and miss the data point.

Me, too. Has this ever been answered by fit bit?

No, Ricardofitbit never replied. Fitbit has done a lot of nice things, including all those sleep statistics. I wish I were not so cynical but I think Fitbit wants us to subscribe to Fitbit premium to get these heart rate stats.

They basically told me, I either get the heart rate or the verbal times, but not both.
