Missing "recent exercises" on Charge 3

For no reason I seem to have lost complete 3 days of "recent exercises" from 14-16 Nov even though my Charge 3 clocked over 12500 steps walked each day. When I asked the customer service agent she suggested that maybe i took too long a break in between which i didn't or I put my hands on the handle bar while walk on tread mill to which I replied I walked outdoors! Also the restart method she suggested doesn't seem to work. Normally i wouldn't mind but since my fitbit record also affects my other apps such as AIA Vitality, this becomes somewhat serious. Another related problem is that the device doesn't seem to capture ALL the exercises. E.g. I did walk and run tonight consecutively and the device only recorded the run!

Are you relying on smart track? As i find it to be iffy a lot.

You can have up to 7 exercise shortcuts. On your dashboard click on the gear and choose settings. Look for exercise shortcuts. Change to what you want. Make one of these Workout.

Device will need to sync before it takes place.

I use Workout mode to capture and exercise that is not listed.

Then I rename it as I state below

Then on the computer dashboard make a custom exercise. This will be at the bottom of the exercise tab Name it what you want.

Then on your device push in the button until you get to the exercise screen. Once there Swipe through until you see the Exercise or use Workout mode Hold in the button to start and when done Hold it back in to stop it.

Once it syncs you can rename it to the custom one you set up.
