Hello @SunsetRunner and I'm glad to see you around. The same issue happen to me. Note that the motion of going on a bike and the bumpy roads or the vibration of the bike can be translated by your tracker as Outdoor bike due to the motion pattern. In my case I usually don't pay attention to this activity, but if you want more accurate data you can change your devices settings to ignored this activity or you can delete the activity from your exercise section and manually log an activity to delete this false data.
Hoe this helps. Keep me posted how it goes.

Hi Roberto, yes, I knew why it was doing, it just amused me that it translated, quite cleverly, that I was on a bike, albeit a motorised one. I'm ok with how to editing / deleting activities thanks, the post was more one of interest rather than the usual "it doesn't work, fix it" variety 🙂

Hi @SunsetRunner, I'm glad to hear you are amuse about how your tracker translate this into an activity. robotvery-happy:. Sure it is interesting how the tracker can detect certain motion patterns to know which activities you are doing. I'm been using this feature since the release and I'm still impressed how it does it to read what are the patterns that trigger the automatic tracking of certain exercises.
Hope we can share more experiences. See ya' soon my friend.

Hello, I just got my first Fitbit Charge HR. I was also quite surprised by seeing a sudden jump on my steps count. Then only I realized that its counting my movement when I am on my motorbike also. Which I found really strange. You may pls update me how to ignore this activity through setting?

You can either delete the activity after the event, or you can set up your Charge HR to ignore outdoor bike rides, by changing the settings for the Charge HR, as shown below.

Hi can you create an app or exercise for motorcyclists? After all it's not just driving. We keep moving on it. Thanks
