The other day I rode my motorcycle to work and since I wear the Fitbit charge 3 everyday, I was wearing on my ride into work. When I got to work (36 or so miles from home), I had accumulated nearly 4,000 steps. I discovered this because I am in a program where I meet 3 daily challenges set by my health insurance company to get a reimbursement on medical expenses and I had already partially completed my challenges. I then went to a dental appointment, but took it off and placed it in a bag on the windshield, until I got back to work (32 miles round trip) and another 3-4,000 steps. When I went home that afternoon (again 36 miles or so) I put it in my backpack and strapped the backpack to the seat with bungees, another nearly 4,000 steps. I normally get in about 20-22,000 in a day without going to the gym, this particular day when I got home from work, I had over 32,000 steps. My questions are:
1. How can I transport the fitbit charge3 while traveling by motorcycle without racking up significant steps that shouldn't be there? (this screws up my tracking for calories etc)?
2. Why does this same phenomenon not happen while driving my car?
3. How can I transport it on the motorcycle without significant false steps?
4. Would the fitbit charge4 be the solution with it's own built in GPS?
5. Would I be better off, turning the tracker off? If so, how do I turn it off? I tried for a half hour the other da

I've seen other people have this issue with the Charge 4, which I really don't understand since you'd think they could do a simple speed gate (none of us are riding a bicycle/jogging above 45mph...)
