Hi,

I can't see the notification on my watch (message, calls etc.).

Maybe my android is old?

Why?

Is it on the supported list? If its not there that's why it doesn't work

Hi, @rossisall, the Xiaomi Redmi 4x is not on the Fitbit Supported Devices list, as @WendyB suggests.  However, just because a device is not on the list it does not NECESSARILY mean that it will not work.  It just means that Fitbit has not fully tested it to confirm that all features work consistently as expected.

I note that the Redmi and the Redmi 2 are both supported.  I am not sure how different the Redmi 4x is... It might be that someone in the Community wit hthe sme phone can help... Or you culd post wharpt steps yu have tried and what error messages yu are receiving.

@rossisall Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! As @WendyB and @Julia_G  explain your phone isn't listed as compatible but it doesn't necessarily means that it won't work with your tracker. You mentioned on the title that your Charge 2 can't sync with your phone and on the post itself that you aren't getting notifications. Which one is correct or are both correct? If your tracker isn't syncing then it won't get notifications as the latter is directly dependent on the first one. Start by going to the bluetooth settings on your phone and remove all devices listed there then make sure the Fitbit app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions). Restart your phone and restart your tracker by doing the following:

Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter.
Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely.
Your tracker should start charging.
Press the button for 10 to 12 seconds.
You should see your tracker's firmware version and you can now unplug your tracker.

Open the Fitbit app to start a sync and see if this works. If it does then try setting up the notifications.

Let me know how it goes!

Hi,

So first you want to check notification permissions for the Fitbit app. You want to add your charge 3 as a trusted device on your phone and lastly go to Settings> Permissions> Autostart> and add the Fitbit app to autostart permissions.

Then you may need to reboot your phone if the settings do not actively take immediately.

I hope this helps. I struggled with this myself for a while as I have a Redmi S2 which is also not supported by Fitbit. All my notifications are working perfectly now.
