My Charge 2 doesnt seem to pick up all my calories I burn

I was working out on the Cross Trainer the other day. And the Cross Trainer said I read I had 566 calories but I had only 150 odd calories on my Fitbit2.  This doesn't seem right.

@Lindylou78 I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your calorie burn calculation. Did you use any activity mode on your device? Does the machine you are using has a heart rate sensor? Was the activity detected by your tracker? Both systems (the cross trainer and Fitbit) will use their own algorithms to calculate the calories burned but they may not be exactly the same. If we add the possibility that the Fitbit account didn't know you were doing cross training (you didn't log the activity or it wasn't detected) then there is space for a greater variation. Still you can manually log your activity if you wish to enter a different amount of calories.

Let me know how it goes.

Hello

I use workout setting. But I discovered that the Fitbit2  isn't picking up my heart rate not consistently anyway. Yes heart rate is on. Its also going flat super fast I charged it a couple of times yesterday. And this morning it was flat. The buzzing hasnt stopped and its getting worse. The Fitbit is a few years old perhaps its wearing out  but I cant afford to simply replace it.
