I have cleaned the charge unit and I have done the reset thing too. My Fitbit Charge 2 will no longer hold a charge. It was fully charged this morning and now, 3.5 hours later, it is completely dead.

How long have you had it? How often have you been putting it on the charger. The initial instructions for battery life tell you to "run it pretty much all the way down" a couple of times when it is new. Did you do that?

I don't remember when I got it...and yes, I have let it run down.

@Linds249 Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2's battery is draining quickly. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. @zungapman thank you for your suggestions in this thread.
Let me know how it goes!
