My Charge 2 isn't getting text notifications

My tracker has stopped letting me see my texts. I was working fine. and it just stopped in he middle of the day a few days ago. I have tried a lot of trouble shooting but noting has seemed to work. I even did a complete factory rest to see if that would work. And it did not. I use my tracker daily and would like to figure out this issue. Thanks

@AThurman, welcome! It's good that the community is growing! 

Let me hep you with your Charge 2 notifications and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I would just like to clarify that the Charge 2 doesn't have a Factory Reset procedure. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible? You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device. 
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

I also have a similar issue.  Until yesterday my charge 2 has been notifying me of incoming texts and phone calls from my Galaxy S9 and displaying the proper information.

 

Now I cannot get text or phone call notifications to work.

could figure it out.
