My Charge 3 is not registering my sleep accurately

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have premium to track my sleep at night. I wear the watch like I always have and it fits well and doesn’t move around. Yet, it’s not registering a full night sleep for me at all. I refuse to believe I’m sleeping only 45 minutes. This has been an ongoing problem for a few weeks now. Thank you for your help. Can’t seem to find a customer service number.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Godsrockchild.

I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Charge 3 is not registering your sleep accurately. Thank you for the information provided.

There are some factors that can affect your sleep records:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed).
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

I would recommend restarting your Fitbit Charge 3. Then, please make sure to track your sleep by following these instructions.
