My Charge 3 not syncing, tracking heart rate and sleep

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Been 3 weeks and now my Charge 3 won't sync, NO heart rate and not tracking sleep.  My Charge 2 NEVER had this problem. I've reset everything reinstalled app and nothing. Steps are way off. Was off my wrist and it registered 554 steps within 10 minutes. If the isn't fixed by this weekend mine wil be going back and never buying another Fitbit product.

Mine will (almost) always sync if I restart my Android. It's a pain, but
works pretty consistently.

Fitbit used to be awesome when they started out. Support was amazing if there was a problem. Now it's convoluted. I bought a new Fitbit (my third or fourth) and this time nothing but issues. Wish I had gone another route and wish I had seen these posts before I bought. I see Customer Support doesn't even respond to these posts anymore. Frustrating. I upgraded to the Charge 3 specifically to see my heart rate and guess what never syncs, even when all the other stats do. Why?!

If I have trouble syncing, restarting my phone almost always takes care of
the problem. Make sure your app has all updates, too.

I do all of that. Tiresome that you have to do all that and almost daily, too.

Oh my! I am so sorry you are having the same problem I had. I finally gave up and got an Apple Watch which I love for many reasons. As an active senior who still bikes and hikes alone in the wilderness my I watch will call emergency if I need it. I recently hiked in Snow Canyon , Utah alone and was totally at ease and connected in case I was in danger. It also works in case I fall at home or if I’m in danger in the Walmart parking lot.
It will also send my heart rate to my doctor .
We women of a certain age need deserve all the active freedom and security we can get. The Apple I Watch is well worth the money for the safety and accuracy it provides.
Good Luck, and thanks so much for responding to my post.

I want to know when Fitbit is going to stop putting this problem on the consumer and actually fix their product so it works. Instead they offer troubleshooting tips like this is our problem. I hope Google buying them will fix this. If they can only build wearables but aren’t able to program an app then they should contract that part out to someone who can. I don’t have issues with all my other apps like I do with the Fitbit app and the Bluetooth compatibility of the device

My charge 3 and fitbit quit monitoring my heart rate. It also logged me steps and stairs while I was driving. Cant walk and drive at the same time. How does this get fixed?

This continual problem needs help.
