My charge 4 touch screen is dead and won't charge

My Fitbit says that it's not charging even though I am not plugged in ... I see this frequently but it charges well when I plug it into the charger by itself.PXL_20221108_172033363.MP.jpg

It must be just over 2 years since they were released- I’m beginning to believe it’s planned obsolescence at this point!! They want us to replace the devices every couple years! I’m pretty over it.

The screen will not turn on, the home button does not activate it, will not charge and would not sync.

I do not wear it in water, or abuse it! It crapped out last night while I was sleeping.

this is my 3rd Fitbit, I find if I’m going to spend $150+ every couple years it’s smarter for me to get a smart watch

So I contacted support - the agents were great - the company/policy SUCK! 
Yet again after 2 years I am expected to buy another device that will be defective.

Shame on Fitbit! Well I will NEVER EVER spend a dime on any product from them!

Yep. They gave me the 35% off a new device and then told me I can’t use it since the device is on sale. No free 6 months of Fitbit Premium since I’ve been paying for it and therefore not a new or returning customer. Nothing for customer loyalty. Had my device less than 2 years.

Yes - mine was a gift for Xmas 2020! I’m pissed and will never buy another anything from Fitbit.

they plan for them to become defective devices! 
I’m going to be looking at other options

Give me a break! I barely use it for more than a watch and check my app for HR. So many peoples Charge 4 batteries became faulty the second week in November. You work for them so your excuse is nonsense.

When they advertise that battery holds a charge for 6 days, they need to add disclaimer. (Battery completely dies within one to 2 years of purchase for most)

I have the same issue of my button not turning the screen on.. Also it doesn't sync and acts as if it's locked up. I restarted it and get the smiley face and then will just vibrate when you push the button.. This all started happening after the last firmware update. Is there an issue with the last update?
