My Charge HR stopped working after Last update

I attempted to update my Charge HR fitbit last night and now it appears it is ruined! I have tried everything I can think of and now cannot even get the iPhone to recognize the device anymore after deleting and trying to readd. When plugged into charging cord, there is a bar halfway and an exclamation point in the middle. I have powered down both devices and restarted and still nothing. I see many many other posts with similar complaints from awhile back. Everything was working fine for me, until I attempted your last update!!!! thileman@hotmail.com Please help, much appreciated. I have an iPhone 8 and Blue tooth will not connect to the device any longer.
